The Super Sprint triathlon is generally the shortest distance triathlon you will find at local events. While the event distances can very, it is very commonly a 1/4 mile swim, 6.2 mile bike ride, and a 1.5 mile run.
While this may sound easy, the average person will still take around an hour or more to complete this race. If you are considering getting into triathlons, this would be a great way to try one out – but is highly recommended that you train for it. I would not recommend just signing up and competing.
